Squarespace is introducing AI Visibility, a new tool designed to help businesses understand and manage how they appear across AI-powered discovery.
As consumers increasingly turn to AI assistants to research, compare, and choose products or services to purchase, showing up clearly in AI-generated answers is a key component of online visibility. New Squarespace research surveying more than 1,000 small business owners across the U.S., Canada, U.K. and Australia found that businesses are preparing for this shift, with two-thirds of respondents believing AI search will be very or extremely important for how they get discovered.

How it works
Built directly into Squarespace’s platform, AI Visibility helps entrepreneurs see how their brand shows up in AI search and how it stacks up against competitors. It uses Squarespace’s knowledge of each business’s website, content, services, and brand to suggest relevant prompts, so users don’t have to know what to test or where to start.
With AI Visibility, Squarespace users can:

Surface missing business information that may affect how their brand is represented
Monitor AI visibility trends over time through a centralized dashboard
Benchmark visibility against competitors and compare relative positioning over time
Create and refine custom prompts based on their business goals
The launch reflects Squarespace’s broader commitment to helping entrepreneurs adapt to the next era of online discovery, as AI search and conversational interfaces become increasingly central to how consumers research, evaluate, and choose businesses.
