Who am I?

Hi, I’m a Software Engineer and Creative.

In my day job I work as a Software and defacto Platform Engineer on a Broadcast Control System, writing some cool stuff that helps people produce live sports and entertainment television across the world.

Previously I worked as a freelance Theatre Technician designing, developing, and implementing AV solutions for interactive theatrical experiences as well as for other smaller and one off theatrical events.

I write FOSS code like rtr and Boreal Director that aim to empower creatives and small productions to use readily available equipment that would otherwise require complex, heavy, or expensive control solutions. I also do some non-digital things like photography and like to read.
